The terms, policies and conditions described below govern the use of this site. Your use of this website and/or placement of any order indicates your acceptance of these terms, policies and conditions.

Customer Service / Dealer Support

The importance and value of earnest, timely and expert customer service by a reputable dealer should never be underestimated. Electric Vehicle Mall has earned a reputation with both its customers and with product manufacturers for outstanding customer service. We answer or return your call the same day, provide our own expert support and ensure that you receive the highest level of support from the product manufacturer. We immediately go to bat for you if you ever run into any difficulty with obtaining what you need from the manufacturer, be it warranty support or simply getting an answer to a technical question. We follow-up to ensure that warranty parts are shipped to you in an expedited manner. You are in the safest of hands when you purchase a product from Electric Vehicle Mall.

You can also call TOLL FREE 1-877-241-2817 to reach our customer service department through our automated switch board. Or you can send a fax to 1-727-588-2453. It is our policy to try to respond to all emails, phone calls and fax the same business day but ALWAYS by the end of the following business day. Our hours are 10:00am to 5:30pm EST Monday through Friday, and from 11am to 2pm EST on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday.

This ElectricVehicleMall.com website is owned and operated by ELECTRIC VEHICLE MALL, a family owned business.

Forms of Payment

We accept all major credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. For your convenience, we also accept PayPal.

You are also welcome to use your VISA or MasterCard DEBIT card. Please know that bank debit cards frequently have a daily limit of $1,000 or $2,000. If your purchase is greater than your limit (call your bank to find out), simply have your bank increase the limit to the amount you need for the next 24 hours. Tell your bank that the merchant name on the charge will be Electric Vehicle Mall.

We also accept Postal Money Orders, available at any US Post Office. Postal Money Orders are inexpensive and available nationwide from any US Post Office. Please call us at 727-474-9992 so that we can set this up for you in our shopping cart. Once we have it set up, you will be able select "money order" as your choice of payment in the shopping cart. This option will be available after you have filled out your shipping and billing addresses. Then complete your purchase in the shopping cart as normal. The final screen will give you instructions on where to mail your Postal Money Order. Alternatively, you can call us at 727-474-9992 to make your order over the phone and we will provide mailing instructions for your Postal Money Order. This type of money order uses holograms and other instantly recognizable marks that validate this form of payment. So, the advantage of Postal Money Orders over other types of money orders or bank checks is that there is no delay between the receipt of your payment and our submitting your order to our shipping department.

For your convenience, we also accept bank cashier's checks and bank certified checks. And we accept money orders from Amscot and Moneygram. Please be advised that, because of possible fraud with these kinds of payment, we will have to verify the payment with the originating bank before we can process your order. However, verification of a valid bank check or money order is not difficult and will not delay your order more than 1 business day from the time we receive your payment. Note: We do NOT accept personal checks or electronic checks. The reason is simply that there is too much fraud with these forms of payment.

Referral Fees Paid To You!

We love referrals! The very best advertising is word-of-mouth. When you tell your friends or others about Electric Vehicle Mall, you can earn money! Customers who have purchased from Electric Vehicle Mall are eligible to receive generous referral fees. Call or email us to have business cards mailed to you for free that you can hand out to your friends and associates. Just carry these with you when you ride your bike or scooter and hand them out to people who admire your bike or scooter. There's even a space on the back where you can write your name so that they are are sure to mention it when ordering.

For every sale over $2,200 which a previous customer refers, a referral fee of $50 will be paid. For every sale over $1,400 which a previous customer refers, a referral fee of $25 will be paid. For every sale over $800 which a previous customer refers, a referral fee of $20 will be paid. For every sale over $400 which a previous customer refers, a referral fee of $15 will be paid. Referral fees will be paid between 30 and 45 days after the purchase is made. All your referee needs to do is mention your name when they are making their purchase. We will take care of the rest!

Exclusions: Only previous customers are eligible for referral fees. Referral fees do not apply to purchases by the previous customer or which are shipped to the previous customer's address. Referral fees are not applicable for purchasers who subsequently request a refund. This is a limited time offer subject to cancellation without notice by Electric Vehicle Mall.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is charged at time of sale only on same-state purchases. EXCEPTION: Sales of Mobilty Scooters in Florida are fully exempt from state sales tax! Sales of all electric bikes, electric tricycles, stand-up scooters and pocket bikes are billed by ELECTRIC VEHICLE MALL in Florida and subject to sales tax at time of sale for Florida residents. Also, since X-Treme Scooters operates and ships products from warehouses in Washington and Iowa state, the sale of any X-Treme product which is shipped to a Washington state address is subject to Washington or Iowa state sales tax, respectively. The amount of any applicable sales tax will be shown in the shopping cart.

Order Cancellation & Refusal of Delivery

Before completing your purchase, please confirm that you have selected the correct item(s), color(s), accessories, etc.

You may cancel your order providing that your order has not yet reached our shipping department. Please be aware that after placing your order with a credit card, we will already have paid money and spent time to process your order. Accordingly, there will be a 7% processing fee for an order cancellation. Call us at 727-230-2324 or send an email to sales@electricvehiclemall.com with the word "cancel order" in the subject line.

Also, due to the high volume of orders we receive and the speed at which we process these orders, once an order is placed, it is generally processed and sent to our shipping department very quickly. So, there is normally very little time after you complete your purchase in which you will be able to cancel your order. Until we confirm the cancellation in writing, please do not assume that it has been successful.

Any product shipment that is refused delivery by a customer at any point of delivery or attempted point of delivery (residence, business or carrier terminal) for any reason other than major verified shipping damage will be treated as a return from the customer and subject to the Manufacturer Return Policies delineated lower on this webpage. In summary, the customer is responsible for any damage that may occur during the return shipment, and the refund will also be less the full shipping costs (going and returning) plus a 20% restocking fee.

Buyer Responsibilities

We are able to offer you our low-low prices over the internet in part because these vehicles are shipped in boxes directly to you from our centrally located warehouses. You would typically pay a much higher price for the same quality merchandise if it was sold to you by a local dealership or store who must pay for shipping, receive, unpack and assemble these products for local viewing and sale, as well as maintain a local inventory. The tradeoff for these low-low prices is that there is a limited Return Policy.

  1. You should check for any shipping damage when your purchase arrives and handle this in accordance with the instructions in the 'Shipping Damage' section below.
  2. You will need to perform some minor assembly. All of our vehicles are shipped 95% assembled with clear instructions to make remaining assembly very easy. All assembly can be done very quickly with basic tools. Many products come with FREE tool kits to make this even easier.
  3. Customers are responsible for installing any replacement parts sent to them under the manufacturer's warranty. Alternatively, you can hire a local mechanic to install it for you. See our Warranty & Technical Support page for more information. Every customer is entitled to FREE LIFETIME technical support from the manufacturer. A full line of replacement parts are available for every vehicle that we sell.

Local Sales & Service

All customer purchases not picked up at our physical location in Largo, Florida, are shipped to our customers directly from warehouses located in the Western, Midwest and Eastern U.S.. By shipping these products ONE TIME, product prices are kept low, fossil fuel is conserved and pollution is reduced. It is part of our corporate commitment to a green, earth-friendly, future.

Electric Vehicle Mall is located at 619 Missouri Ave N. in Largo, FL 33770 (30 minutes east of Tampa, FL). Customers that live within driving distance can see, inspect and test ride fully assembled bikes and scooters at our location. (Exception: Highway capable electric motorcycles, because of insurance requirements, may not be test ridden by customers.)

PLEASE call us ahead of time at 727-474-9992 to ensure that we have what you are looking for fully assembled and ready for you to see. We will set up an appointment that is convenient for you and provide driving directions.

Local pick-up of fully assembled and road tested bikes and scooters is available for a modest dealer setup fee. The price for local pickup is the same as the price with shipping on this internet site (as we must pay for shipping from warehouses located in the Western, Midwest and Eastern U.S. to our retail store). Only fully assembled, tested and ready-to-ride vehicles are sold from our local store.

We can also conveniently deliver your fully-assembled ready-to-ride electric bike, mobility scooter, moped bike or motorcycle directly from our store in Largo, FL, to your home or office for a reasonable fee. Call 727-474-9992 for more information.

Shipping Damage

FOR X-TREME PRODUCTS ONLY:

Should an X-Treme product arrive with damage that is a direct result of the assigned shipping carriers mishandling, X-Treme will replace those damaged parts free of charge under the manufacturer's warranty as long as the damage is reported immediately after delivery. The manufacturer will provide technical support through its phone and/or ticket system to assist customers with the replacement of parts but will not pay labor charges to install such parts. For more information, see the instructions on our Warranty page.

IMPORTANT: If you are present at time of delivery do not hesitate to keep the carrier at your doorstep until you inspect the box and the contents for shipping damage. IF THE BOX IS DAMAGED AND INSPECTION OF THE CONTENTS REVEALS THAT MAJOR DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED DURING SHIPPING, REFUSE THE SHIPMENT AND HAVE THE CARRIER FILE A REPORT right then. The carrier will return it to the point of origin. A replacement will be shipped to you at no additional cost. If in doubt, please call us.

If you are not present at the time of delivery, you can still process a claim within 24 hours directly with the carrier and have them return it to the point of origin. DO NOT remove the product from the box or further tear the box if you intend to file a claim with the carrier.

In the event that the damage is determined to be extensive more than 24 hours after you have accepted delivery, (digital photos may be required by e-mail), at the manufacturer's discretion and after careful consideration, the manufacturer may arrange to have the item picked up and returned to the manufacturer (never to this store) for free replacement.

FOR ALL EVMALL PRODUCTS ONLY (i.e., GT Deluxe & GT4 Deluxe):

INSPECT FOR DAMAGE BEFORE SIGNING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE SHIPMENT!

If there is any damage to the outside packaging, ask the driver to wait while you inspect the contents. (Note that it is common for one or more holes to get poked in the box during handling and transit. This does not mean that your scooter is damaged! Actual shipping damage to your scooter is rare but it can happen.) If there is damage to the box, cut the straps holding the box to the pallet and then cut the straps the wrap around the top of the box so that you can open the top of the box. DO NOT REMOVE THE SCOOTER FROM THE BOX YET! Opening the top of the shipping box will reveal your scooter within. With the scooter still in the box, look to see if your scooter has shipping damage. If you can’t tell if there is damage to the scooter, go ahead and remove the cardboard box entirely by lifting it up and off the steel frame (this is easy with two people, one person at each end of the cardboard box; ask the driver for assistance if there is no one to help you). Now inspect the scooter again.

IF THERE IS DAMAGE TO THE SCOOTER, AS THE RECEIVER, YOU MUST DOCUMENT THE DAMAGE SO THAT A CLAIM FOR DAMAGE CAN BE FILED WITH THE CARRIER. Otherwise, you are essentially accepting a damaged scooter as okay and neither you nor we will have any recourse to reimbursement by the carrier who caused the damage to your scooter.

  • First, make a note of the damages on the “Accepting Bill of Lading” and keep a copy for yourself.
  • Second, have the delivery driver sign the “Accepting Bill of Lading” CONFIRMING the damage. Make sure Driver’s NAME and ID# is legible
  • Third, take pictures of the outside packaging and of the damages to your scooter.
  • Fourth, within 24 hours of receipt, contact us at 727-474-9993 or send an email to service@electricvehiclemall.com.
  • Fifth, call Electric Vehicle Mall so that we can follow up on it for you.
  • Sixth, do not remove your scooter from the steel framed box or the pallet until you receive further instructions.

If you can see no damage to the contents so far, completely remove the contents from the box and inspect for any damage. If you find any damage, contact a Electric Vehicle Mall Customer Service representative immediately by email to service@electricvehiclemall.com. IMPORTANT: Do not throw away the box or packing materials until you are certain there is no shipping damage!

FOR ALL OTHER PRODUCTS (other than X-Treme and EVMall products):

Inspecting For Shipping Damage Is A Vital Customer Responsibility:

When your order is delivered you should immediately inspect the carton for any potential damage that may have occurred during shipment.

Carefully inspect the packaging. It is normal for the carton to show some wear; however, if any damage did occur follow these steps:

1. If there is any damage to the carton, make a note of the damage to the carton on the shipping receipt and mark "damage to contents subject to further inspection", sign and date it. The delivery person should also sign the slip and leave a copy for your records. Use a cell phone camera or other digital camera to take pictures of the damage to the carton as this will help in filing a claim with the shipper should any shipping damage to the product be later discovered.

2. If there is significant visible damage to the carton:

  • DO NOT OPEN the carton and DO NOT REMOVE the product from the carton (unless later requested by Electric Vehicle Mall or a manufacturer representative);
  • In addition to noting the damage to the carton on the shipping receipt, REQUEST THAT A CLAIM BE FILED WITH THE CARRIER FOR DAMAGE;
  • Immediately email Electric Vehicle Mall Customer Service representative at service@electricvehiclemall.com for further instructions. In your email, identify the customer name and zip code to which the package was shipped, and describe the damage to the carton.

3. If there is minor damage to the carton, open the top of the carton and, without removing the product from the carton, inspect the contents for damage. If you find significant damage to the contents, do not further open the carton but contact a Electric Vehicle Mall Customer Service representative immediately by email to service@electricvehiclemall.com.

4. If you can see no damage to the contents so far, completely remove the contents from the carton and inspect for any damage. If you find any damage, contact a Electric Vehicle Mall Customer Service representative immediately by email to service@electricvehiclemall.com. IMPORTANT: Do not throw away the box or packing materials until you are certain there is no shipping damage.

X-Treme Products Return Policy:

15 DAY RETURN POLICY

If during the first 15 days you choose to return merchandise purchased from X-Treme Scooters for a replacement/exchange or refund, please review the terms and conditions below.

Return Terms and Conditions:

Refunds will be for 100% of the entire purchase price including the original shipping costs.

Extended Warranties purchased will be 100% refunded when a scooter is returned for a refund; within the extended warranty period only.

At the discretion of X-Treme Scooters, a restocking fee of 15% may be deducted from refunds for items returned in their original condition within 15 days of purchase including but not limited to unauthorized returns.

Customer is responsible for returning merchandise at their own expense.

Merchandise must be received in 100% new, re-sellable condition. Merchandise is not eligible for refund if it has been ridden, worn, used, abused, damaged in any way or gas has been added to the fuel tank. Merchandise must arrive complete (including warranty cards, manuals, accessories, promotional items, etc.) and in the original packaging.

Customer must initiate return shipment of the merchandise within 15 days of the purchase date.

Preparing your product for Authorized R.M.A. return shipment:

  1. Re-pack the merchandise securely in its original packaging, include the original contents of the box; warranty cards, Manuals, accessories, promotional items, etc.
  2. Include a copy of your invoice.
  3. Include a copy of the RMA notice you have received from us via our support department help desk.
  4. Clearly print your RMA# on the return shipping label (on the outside of the box).For your protection we recommend all returns be sent via UPS, Federal Express, DHL or other courier that issues a tracking number. We recommend that the shipment is insured. The customer is responsible for damage or loss during return shipping.

Freight collect and COD packages will not be accepted.

Once merchandise has been received and processed, credit will be applied to the account through which payment was originally made; which means we will refund your dealer or the store you purchased from and your dealer / store will have to refund you.

Damaged or Defective Items

ELECTRIC WHEELS will make every reasonable effort to assist you by either providing replacement parts or technical assistance to solve the problem.

Returning an Item

Standard Return Shipping

  1. Pack the item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible. Please include all paperwork, parts, and accessories. All products must be returned in good condition, to ensure a credit.
  2. Complete the return reason questionnaire and include it in the return package.
  3. Before sending your return shipment, please remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.
  4. Send the return package to the following address:

  5. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
  6. It is recommended that you use UPS whenever possible for your return. Retain the return Tracking Number to monitor delivery status.
  7. To receive a refund or credit, items must be returned within 10 days of original shipment date.
  8. Credit for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser.

Returning an Oversized Item

Items are considered to be oversized if they are heavier than 30 pounds. You will not be refunded shipping charges under any circumstances on Oversized Items that are returned . Please be aware that shipping charges can be quite expensive for Oversized Items. Follow these steps to return an Oversized Item:

  1. If you have assembled the product, dissemble it before shipment using the original protective packaging materials.
  2. Package the disassembled item(s) securely in original product packaging, whenever possible. Please include all paperwork, parts, and accessories. All products must be returned in good condition, to insure a refund or credit.
  3. Complete the return reason questionnaire that was included with your packing slip. Remove the mailing label portion and include the remainder of the slip in the return package.
  4. Contact a Customer Service Specialist at service@ewheelsdealers.com for instructions on arranging a freight delivery pickup for your items. Please have your customer ID number located on your packing list available when you call.
  5. You must be present at the location and time of pickup. All packaged item(s) must be at the front door for the freight driver.
  6. To receive a refund or credit, items must be returned within 15 days of original shipment date.
  7. Credit for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser.

IMPORTANT: If there is significant visible damage to the carton upon receipt, request that the driver note the damage and request a claim be filed with the carrier for damage. You should also immediately contact an ELECTRIC WHEELS Customer Service representative at service@ewheelsdealers.com or call 888-571-2845. If your call goes to voicemail, please provide your full name, model name of product, best phone number to reach you during normal business hours, and a brief description of the situation. A representative will return your call as quickly as possible and always by the next business day.

EV Rider Support & Return Policies

Damaged or Defective EV-Rider Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, email the EV Rider Customer Service Department within 3 Days of delivery at customerservice@evrider.com . Please be prepared to supply the order number and item number from your original confirmation e-mail, as well as your e-mail address and phone number. EV RIDER will make every reasonable effort to assist you by either providing replacement parts or technical assistance to solve the problem.

SHIPPING DAMAGE: Important! It is normal for the carton to show some wear; however, if any damage did occur follow the instructions on our Shipping web page: Inspecting For Shipping Damage - A Vital Customer Responsibility (click on this link to see the instructions).

EV Rider Return Policy:

  • A 20% restocking fee will be charged for ALL returned items. Returned products must be in selling condition as new.
  • Customers must call EV Rider Tech Support at 800-944-1997 and obtain a Return Manufacturer’s Authorization Number (RMA #).
  • Do not return units or parts without an RMA #. Returned units or parts with out a proper RMA number will be refused or returned at the shipper’s expense.
  • Credits will be granted upon inspection of the returned product(s).
  • Custom orders are non-refundable.
  • Units and Parts must be returned within 30 days from date of purchase and with an authorized RMA #.
  • If the part or unit is shipped back to EV Rider:
  1. Customer is responsible for shipping parts or products back to EV Rider at his/her own expense.
  2. It must be packaged carefully and clearly marked with an RMA # so that credit can be processed accurately. Improper Packaging may cause shipping damages to the part or unit being returned impacting the amount of credit to be refunded. All damaged parts or units must be replaced and/or repaired at the sender’s expense.
  3. Original shipping costs are not refundable.

* REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE PROCESSED FOR PRODUCTS SHIPPED BACK AND RECEIVED BY EV RIDER WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM ORIGINAL INVOICE DATE.

All damaged parts or units must be replaced and/or repaired at the sender’s expense.
  3. Original shipping costs are not refundable.

Communications from ElectricVehicleMall.com

When you place an order, we will send you an order confirmation, shipment notification, and if necessary, we will contact you via email or phone if there is a problem processing your order.

ElectricVehicleMall.comm may send occasional emails to current and past customers to inform them of new products or promotions. We will each time provide you with an opportunity to permanently opt-out or otherwise prohibit such emails being sent to you.
