The XB-610 electric bike has a 600 watt brushless rear hub motor (installed in the center of the rear wheel) that is powered a 48 volt high-power system consisting of 4 large 12 Volt 20 AMP batteries. These are very powerful batteries. They are the same battery that powers our heavy mobility scooter and have 67% more energy than the very adequate 12 AMP batteries that come with the XB-502. These high amperage batteries give the XB-600 greater acceleration and hill climbing power and extended range over the XB-502. The XB-600 will travel 30 to 35 miles on a single charge depending on rider weight, terrain and average speed.

The batteries can last 3 years or more and can be re-charged more than 500 times. The battery pack is also designed for easy removal and can be charged on or off the bike.
