The X-250 electric scooter is the smaller version of the X-500 & features the latest in product innovation and future technology. The X-250 offers you a 250 Watt electric motor + 2 batteries equaling 24 output volts and you get all of this under an Aluminum deck with an optional seat kit tossed in for free. The X-250 rides on the latest technology and features 8" air filled tires, Aluminum looking Mag wheels, and features a rear drum braking system.
This new upgraded 2010 model X-250 scooter has a metal rear wheel rim instead of plastic, and an upgraded much higher quality UL Certified battery charger. Also, the new upgraded X-250 ships with much improved packaging (molded-to-fit Styrofoam) to ensure damage free delivery and a great appearance upon opening the carton. .
The X-250 is a great electric scooter. This scooter cannot be broken. The frame is made of high tension steel, the deck is made of Aluminum. This is a great scooter for kids & it easily folds and locks in the folded position for storage or transportation. It will fit in the trunk of any vehicle and could probably fit into a school locker if needed.
Also, the shipment packaging has been upgraded to molded Styrofoam that allows the scooter to fit snuggly and perfectly inside the shipping carton. This significantly reduces the chance of shipping damage and, when purchased as a gift, increases the presentation value when the carton is opened to find the scooter resting in the box in premium condition.
The X-250 will be dependable & tough. It can be dropped, jumped, and put through the rigorous use any young kid is going to give to it and be used every day with no problems.
Recommended for riders 8 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. It's so strong, even an adult can ride it! (Weight limit is 300 lbs.)
The top speed is up to 15 MPH which is faster than the X-140 and slower than the X-500. We still suggest riders always wear a bicycle helmet and other safety gear when riding any size scooter.
